Phil Jones is relatively well in his first season with Manchester United. Armed with this, Jones hopes he can perform in the European Cup or the Olympics.

Purchased at a price quite expensive which is 16 million pounds from Blackburn Rovers, did not take long for Jones to have a place in the main MU. He appeared 36 times in all competitions and contributed two goals.

Minus the value of Jones may be the position that is still uncertain because sometimes Sir Alex Ferguson had put the 19-year football player at the position of central defender, right defender to midfielder.

Although he is true multifunction player, but it may change position frequently makes appearances up and down. Moreover, also had an injury sidelined him in some games.

With the Premier League one week left to live longer (plus still compete with Manchester City at the spur towards the championship title), Jones analyzes his performance during this season. He considered his performance so far has been pretty much satisfied.

"Everything went really well. If at the beginning of the season there is a saying I could play 40 times for Manchester United, then I would greet them. It's incredible," he said as quoted by Sky Sports.

"I do not predict this season, but everything starts with good sangta. Maybe I was injured at the moment that is not right, because at the end of the season I could not return my best condition," he continued.

"But now I feel better, fit and fresh. I hope to end the season with a very good condition."

Armed with their performance this season, Jones felt deserved to be called by the England-Ukraine Poland. Since its debut last year, Jones has appeared four times with the Three Lions.

"There are two important competitions at the end of this season (the European Cup or Olympic Games 2012). Hopefully I can look at one of the tournament," he concluded.
