The Football - Ramsey Arsenal Expect Good Start

The Football - Aaron Ramsey hopes Arsenal can start the Premier League season 2012/2013 well ahead. With a good start, he believes the Gunners can compete at the top.

Last year, Arsenal started the season poorly. Arsene Wenger's team this direction have won just two wins from seven games early, including the 2-8 defeat of Manchester United.

Though still inconsistent, Arsenal could improve its performance in the mid-season. Robin van Persie et al. even recorded a seven-game winning streak in the month of February-March.

For next season, Ramsey hopes Arsenal can live a better start. With the new players that have been trafficked - such as Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud - Ramsey believes his team can compete at the top.

"If we do a better start this season than we did last season, we knew we could finish in a strong position, as we did last year," Ramsey said as quoted by Sky Sports.

"We've bought some of the famous players and hopefully we can put ourselves in position ready to compete from the beginning," lid Wales footballer's nationality.
