The Football - Luis Suarez is often reported demand by some big European clubs. For 'memagarinya', Brendan Rodgers hopes Liverpool striker gave Uruguay the new contract.

Juventus club became one of the most widely reported to bring Suarez. Serie A season 2011/2012 was reportedly ready to bid for Liverpool for Suarez.

Suarez contract with Liverpool expires in 2016. Although Suarez was still a long contract, Rodgers did not want to lose the 25-year-old striker.

Rodgers has been in talks with Suarez. Liverpool's new manager is also hoping the Reds will be handed a new contract to Suarez.

"I've done talks openly with Luis. He was really hoping to stay here," said Rodgers told talkSPORT as quoted by the Mirror.

"Obviously we hope to give him a new contract. He could not wait to undergo a new season," said the former manager of Swansea City.

The Football - After winning Euro 2012 with Spain, David Silva will return to Manchester City. Silva is determined to win a trophy again in the Champions League next season so the main aim.

In 2012 practically finished a successful year for Silva. In May, he lifted the trophy Premier League with City. Less than two months after that, he won the European Cup in team uniforms.

The growth has been increasingly challenged to create a Silva win more titles again. 26-year-old playmaker is now willing to give the Champions League trophy for the Citizens.

"I wanted to get away first because this is a long, hard season for me," I Silva on ESPN Star.

"But once I go back to the City, I will be completely fresh again because I want to win more trophies with them," he added.

"The club owner has spent a lot of money to bring in good players to the club. We have won titles, including the Premier League," said the former Valencia player.

"Now I hope to show that we have the quality to do something in the Champions League," he said.
