The Football - Carroll Want to Survive in Liverpool

The Football - Andy Carroll recently touted to be lent or sold at low prices by Liverpool. Carroll himself was already confirmed to continue to survive.

Carroll finished this summer one of the players that are often mentioned in the discussion of transfer rumors. Of which he was associated with Newcastle, West Ham, Fulham, and even AC Milan.

Could appear relatively bright at Liverpool since carried off from Newcastle in January 2011 with a price of about 35 million pounds into the reasons why the future of Carroll continues to be speculated.

Already then, the scheme that the strategy will be applied by new manager Brendan Rodgers as Liverpool are also said to match the style of play is less Carroll. Then more speculation kencanglah blows.

The Football - Ferdinand Impressed by Nick Powell

The Football - Manchester United's latest recruit in the transfer market this summer, Nick Powell, won praise from Rio Ferdinand. According to one senior player Manchester United is, Powell is full of surprises.

Powell had just brought in from the club Crewe Alexandra MU, which next season will be promotion to the npower League 1, a three-level competition in the United Kingdom. At the club, Crewe Powell managed to deliver victory in the playoffs.

In the eyes of Ferdinand, Powell has a bright prospect in the future. Ferdinand admitted was impressed with the performance of 18-year-old midfielder, who is currently in South Africa in a series of pre-season tour.

"I think he has a good prospect," said Ferdinand as reported by Soccerway.

"I've watched several videos, including some of the game. He has a style of play a little surprising and can play without any preparation at all. He will play one or two touches on a few times, then he will do something that you did not think."

"Powell has a great touch, he was not afraid and looks like a young man who came to Manchester United with confidence despite coming from a club that is under us," he continued.

Upon his return from the pre-season tour in South Africa, Manchester United will play a friendly with Hannover and Barcelona, before diving first game against Everton English Premier League on 18 August.
