The Football - 'Arsenal bring Giroud to substitute Van Persie'

The Football - Arsenal acknowledge that their move to recruit Olivier Giroud, is planned if Robin van Persie to leave. The Gunners Van Persie aware of the magnitude likely to leave Arsenal.

Giroud officially brought Arsenal last June. 25-year-old striker was carried off from Montpellier with a tag of 13 million pounds.

Giroud arrival further strengthens the speculation if Van Persie will leave the Emirates Stadium. Many cite Giroud brought in to replace Van Persie.

What is the speculation had been correct. Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi, Giroud purchased acknowledge that if Van Persie will leave. In the end, the Dutch striker was decided to not add to his contract at Arsenal expires in the summer of 2013.

"Is recruitment Giroud as the departure of Van Persie compensation? Yes, we do so to avoid being cornered position," said Grimandi as reported by the Daily Mail.

"We want him (Van Persie) to survive but to live one year contract so it's complicated."

The man who also played for Arsenal was later described that it is unlikely to retain Van Persie. If there is a great offer, it is quite possible that Arsenal captain will actually go.

"If there is a great offer and he wanted to go, it will be difficult to defend," said Grimandi.

"I never thought that players like Thiago Silva could be sold and that's the case today. There are parameters that you can not handle," he concluded.

The Football - The fate of Andy Carroll is confusing. Once rumored to be on loan AC Milan and also targeted West Ham, now former club, Newcastle United, reportedly interested in him up again.

Newcastle bring back the desire expressed by the Carroll manager Alan Pardew. Admits that they admired the striker, he also mentioned that Carroll had been treated unfairly, associated lack of contribution to Liverpool.

"Andy did a great job here (Newcastle). I have always supported it, although he was in Liverpool, where many people like to leave. Honestly, I feel he was treated unfairly there. Not by Liverpool, but by the media as a whole," Pardew said as reported by the Daily Mail.

"I'm sure he'll be a great player. However, other concerns about the transfer, many of which must be considered. You can not continue to assume at this club. I think all of us are interested in quality players," said 50-year coach.

Carroll is a product of Newcastle United's academy. Since joining the senior team in 2006, Carroll showed a good performance. During the five years to strengthen the senior team Newcastle, Carroll played as much as 81 times, scoring 30 goals.

Brendan Rodgers, the new coach of Liverpool, had been given the green light to Carroll to negotiate to another club on his transfer plans. However, the former coach of Swansea is just going to take it off permanently, not lent.
