The Football - 'Remove the Spurs would Substitute Modric If Have equivalent'

The Football - Luka Modric was widely rumored to be leaving Tottenham Hotspur. Brad Friedel believes that his club would take off Modric if it had set up a replacement for the Croatian midfielder.

Modric was rumored to be leaving the White Hart Lane after Spurs failed after competing in the Champions League next season. Real Madrid became one of the club who reportedly wanted to bring the 26-year-old player.

Aware if Modric is one of the key players for the Lilywhites, Friedel believes that his club will not take off Modric for granted. If the Spurs will sell Modric, the management has prepared a new player is worth to replace it.

"Know how the chairman to work, if someone like Luka Modric left the club, then they had a replacement that had been prepared," Friedel said on talkSPORT as reported by Sky Sports.

"I saw the ambition of the club then they will not let the player go without a successor."

"We do not sell the club, that's for sure," said 41-year-old goalkeeper.
