The Football - The main reason
to leave Arsenal and
Samir Nasri cross
over to Manchester City is to win the trophy.
When the destination is reached, Nasri was
the more convinced he had made the right decision.
Nasri's move to leave the Gunners in the last year had led to controversy. French international midfielder was accused of just wanting the money offered City. However, he denied this and insisted he moved to The Citizens for the sake of lifting the trophy.
A year passed and Nasri could actually win the title. He helped City win the Premier League last season.
"I am happy at Manchester City because I won my first title," said Nasri told France Football.
"Together with my representative, I am always confident that I made the right decision to join the City. Although I do not always play, I knew that I could develop as a player in the City and won the title," he explained.
"The controversy related to my decision was surprising. When you see a squad that contains names like (Carlos) Tevez, (Sergio) Aguero, (David) Silva, Yaya Toure, and (Vincent) Kompany, you can not say I was moved because it is not sports grounds, "said the player was born June 26, 1987.
"I still believe City is the club's future. We hope to prove it next season because the building's success is the hardest thing to do."
"We have to evolve in the Champions League. Last year, several players had no experience required. However, next season will be much better," he said.
